The Mildren Construction team, along with DJ Property, RB Studio Architects and Godsell Arnold Partnership Ltd, all performed key roles in the recent Deheers building renovation. All are honoured to have received the Weymouth Civic Society Annual Award 2020/2021.

The Citation for the Award states: “Awarded for the very fine restoration of this historic warehouse and its conversion to five apartments, with the Ebike Cafe on the ground floor.  We commend the newly enhanced facade and the major interior transformation, which respects and retains elements of the building’s historic structure.  It has given a new lease of life to this significant building in the harbourside scene, with the prospect of its continuance in good condition into the future”.

Chris Wingham, Milidren Construction’s CEO said “The Mildren Team are very proud to have played a part in this sensitive Grade II listed building project, working closely with the client’s team on restoration of the iconic Deheers building at Custom House Quay in Weymouth.

We are delighted to have received the Weymouth Civic Society Annual Award for 2020/2021 and feel that our experience working with DJ Property gave us good grounding for success, especially through such testing times.”
