The Mildren team reached another landmark point at Bristow Helicopters just before Christmas, successfully pouring the 240m3 concrete pool base. 35 trucks poured the 400mm deep slab over 9 hours. Thanks to all concerned reaching a key part of this fantastic project, all in one day! ​

Great waste recycling initiative this week from the Mildren site team at Adanac to avoid disposing of oversized aggregates. We’ve brought in a small crusher from Guy’s Plant to reduce oversized aggregate in the 6F5 (recycled concrete) screened with the riddle bucket. Re-use is always better than recycling!​
