Undergraduate placement ends

Jangwon Lee – Undergraduate placement student
With another successful undergraduate placement at Mildren Construction ending, we are sorry to see Jangwon leave us. We wish him luck with his onward journey and hope he returns to us at the end of his studies.
Jangwon said:
“As a student in Civil Engineering, I have become passionate about being on site and seeing how the real world of Civil Engineering and Construction becomes a reality on site. From initially shadowing a senior engineer to being ultimately responsible for the setting out for the whole project, Mildren Construction has given me the opportunity to learn how engineering knowledge really works on site.
I was very lucky to experience various aspects of civil engineering and construction throughout my placement year having worked on large 145Ksq ft industrial projects and highways projects.
I am very grateful for this industrial placement opportunity with Mildren Construction, and really appreciate everyone who has taught me and guided me into the world of Civil Engineering.”
Nicki Main, Mildren’s Communications and Social Value Manager said “Since Jang joined us, I have noticed his confidence improve so much. It has been a pleasure to witness this and see Jang grow professionally. I have received nothing but good feedback on his work from all who have worked with him, and he is a respected member of the site team.”
