New Wickes Home Improvement Centre

Mildren Construction were contracted under a design & build contract by Travis Perkins to undertake the construction of a new Wickes Home Improvement Centre to shell specification on this high profile site on London Road in Crawley.

This being the fourth new Wickes store undertaken by Mildren Construction, we are proud to remain top of the Travis Perkins Health and Safety League Table .

Completed in 43 weeks, this high profile site has created some 20,000 sq/ft of new retail space along with 120 parking spaces. In order to blend sympathetically with the existing buildings, the design of this flagship store is a break from the normal Wickes style and incorporates some glass front facade walls and panelling.
