Build and internal fitting in just 26 weeks!

Mildren Construction were employed by Travis Perkins to undertake the design and construction of a new Wickes Unit to current Standards and Regulations, including associated external works, services, and fit out at Somerford Road, Christchurch.

Working to tight deadlines, the project was completed in just 26 weeks including the complete fit-out of all internal areas prior to the client taking possession of the premises.

Mildren used a traditional pad and strip footing foundation solution, on to which the steel frame was secured. All products used were compliant with Wickes company branding standards.

The local water infrastructure did not have the capacity to deal with any additional run off, therefore an on site SUDs solution was designed to the approval of the local planning authority and Environment Agency.
