Works complete at Herriard Bio Power site

Works are complete at the Herriard Bio Power site near Basingstoke where the Mildren team carried out the design and build of a new Anaerobic Digestion and biomethane upgrading plant for Re-Gas Energy Group.

AD technology is a sustainable and environmentally-friendly method of producing biomethane which creates low-carbon heat, transport fuel and electricity. The new plant generates biomethane from local food waste collections which it injects into the national gas grid for use by households and businesses reducing the need for fossil fuels. The site also produces electricity which is, again, injected into the national electricity grid.
