World Safety Day

With the world day for Safety and Health landing on Sunday the 28th April, this year Mildren Construction took the opportunity to stop all sites on the following Monday morning, 29th April 2019.

We called the event ‘Pause 4 Safety’ and it covered 4 topics that related to areas of improvement we have identified across our site’s in the year to date.

We stopped work on all our sites, and our senior management team and directors delivered the event ‘briefing’ to 125 site staff working for us and with us, on sites from Illminster to Eastbourne and from Poole to Lyneham. This included our own employees and those of our labour only subcontractors.

The event saw operatives presented with fresh guidance, quick facts, case studies, videos and provided the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions.
