Rhiannon Betts from Plymouth University, will be seconded to the team on Mildren’s Eastbourne Town Centre Improvement Scheme (ETCIS) which Mildren commenced in March of this year. This is a £4.5m joint project between East Sussex County Council and Eastbourne Borough Council, which will see Eastbourne’s town centre transformed.
Simon French, MD for Mildren said:
“Here at Mildren we believe in investing in our future, whether that’s when we are carrying out our projects, or nurturing our staff.
We were all very impressed when we first met Rhiannon and have high hopes for her time with us and to further enhance our excellent relationship with Plymouth University as this is the second year of taking one of their student placements.
“The Eastbourne project is varied and with the scope of works is a great opportunity for her to experience many different facets of Mildren’s service delivery.”
Mildren has become one of the South’s leading construction and civil engineering firms by combining industry expertise, unrivalled local knowledge and a willingness to think innovatively and ambitiously.
