Wallop Ford Bridge, Hampshire

Removal of an existing road bridge and construction of a pre-cast reinforced concrete box unit, and in-situ reinforced concrete parapet plinths with brick wing walls and training walls.

Comprising of the removal of an existing road bridge and construction of a pre-cast reinforced concrete box unit, and in-situ reinforced concrete parapet plinths with brick wing walls and training walls. 

The existing brick arch footbridge was also removed and re-constructed with brick wing walls and training walls. The reinstatement of the surrounding river beds and banks was also required as the site is located in a conservation area and permission had to be obtained for the demolition of the existing bridges from the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.
