Costa Coffee Drive Thru, Weymouth Gateway

Phase 2 of Retail Development

Mildren Construction was appointed for Phase 2 of a new retail park on Mercery Road, Weymouth, working for London Metric, Avercet and Sharman Projects.

Opening in August 2022, the new Costa drive-thru took just 40 weeks to build. The structure is steel frame and blockwork.

As part of this design and build development, infrastructure services were improved including an internal spine road to the eastern boundary and service yard to the southern boundary. Parking facilities include 32 electric car charging spaces and cycle parking areas.

The entire development opened in November 2022 and is now known as Weymouth Gateway. See full case study for Weymouth Gateway here.
