McDonalds Mercery Road, Weymouth Gateway

Phase 2 of Retail Development

Mildren Construction was appointed for Phase 2 of a new retail park on Mercery Road, Weymouth, working for London Metric, Avercet and Sharman Projects.

Opening in May 2022, the McDonald’s drive-thru took just one day to install including fit-out. Sited on pad foundations, six modular units were positioned into place.

As part of this design and build development, infrastructure services were improved including an internal spine road to the eastern boundary and service yard to the southern boundary. Parking facilities include 32 electric car charging spaces and cycle parking areas.

The entire development opened in November 2022 and is now known as Weymouth Gateway.
