Waterside Infrastructure Project
This project involved an extensive redevelopment of the waterfront on the Gosport side of Portsmouth Harbour and included a variety of maritime activities to create a new marina and associated facilities.
A breakwater was constructed to one side of the marina by installing rock armour revetments into the seaward channel and reclaiming the land behind.
The marina was further enclosed by a refurbished 250m long jetty on which we replaced the hardwood timber fenders and decking. Floating pontoons secured with driven tubular piles provided berthing facilities and the project also included a number of reinforced concrete structures constructed in tidal conditions.
