A3059 Rialton Road
New Highway Construction
As part of Cornwall’s Poundbury, these preliminary road works comprise the construction of a new two-lane single-carriageway road from the A3059 Quintrell Road in the south to the A3059 Rialton Road in the north-east leading towards Newquay Cornwall Airport.
The existing A3059 coming from Newquay town centre will meet the new road at a major-minor priority junction. The route forms the north-eastern section of the Newquay Strategic Route which will eventually link the A3058 and A3059 to the A392 at Hendra, with a spur leading to Trevenson Road to the west.
