Mildren Construction has successfully completed a second developer-led Aldi at Auckland Road, Millbrook.

The low and zero carbon technologies delivered at this site are photovoltaic panels to the roof and external refrigeration plant with waste heat recovery where heat generated by the refrigeration process is re-used to heat the retail area. This meets practically 40% of the building’s annual energy demand.

The new store was opened today by Paralympian Aaron Phipps.
