Mildren Construction is proud to announce that we have been honoured with RoSPA’s prestigious Order of Distinction for the 17th consecutive year, recognising our unwavering commitment to health and safety across all areas of our business.
The award was presented as part of the 70th anniversary of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards, the world’s largest and most respected health and safety awards programme. What began as a small UK‑focused recognition event in 1956 has now grown to attract more than 2,000 entries from nearly 60 countries, highlighting global excellence in keeping people safe at work.
Simon French, Managing Director at Mildren Construction comments on this year’s achievement:
“Receiving the Order of Distinction for the 17th year is a significant milestone and a reflection of the collective effort of our teams across every project and location. We remain committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards, investing in training, and ensuring that every colleague and member of the public is protected through our operations”.
Setting the Standard in Workplace Safety
The RoSPA Awards programme brings together organisations of all sizes — from SMEs through to multinational blue‑chip companies — to celebrate achievements in accident prevention and occupational safety. As well as competitive category awards across sectors such as construction, manufacturing and entertainment, RoSPA also recognises structured achievement levels including Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit.
For Mildren Construction, the awards process is an opportunity not just for recognition but also for continuous improvement. The rigorous application requirements support reflective practice and professional development, reinforcing our commitment to ongoing learning and safer working environments.
