Mildren Construction Limited has successfully retained its Investors in People (IiP) Silver accreditation, which is a significant achievement for demonstrating its commitment to workforce development and engagement. The evaluation process involved:

🔵 Interviews with a cross-section of directly-employed staff (both on-site and at Head Office).

🔵 Online surveys to gather broader employee feedback.

🔵 Review of documentation and procedures to assess policies and practices around investing in people.

Feedback highlighted that employees felt supported within their roles and praised the strong sense of team and the approachability and openness of managers, with interviewees commenting “It’s a place that encourages learning.  They have time for people so if you want a career in construction it’s a good place to be”, “I feel able to trust the professional judgement of people above me” and “I believe the company is doing really well.  It’s a good firm to be at”.

Simon French, Managing Director said: “Mildren Construction’s last Investor in People’s assessment was in 2022, and we are very pleased to have retained our silver standard.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to the evaluation process through interviews, surveys, and documentation reviews—this valuable input helps us keep growing together”.
