🚧 Construction Commences on Phase 2 at Waterloo Park, Waterlooville 🚧

Mildren Construction is very pleased to announce we have been appointed as Principal Contractor by Hargreaves to complete Phase 2 of their Waterloo Park development in Waterlooville.

We’re officially on site to complete the construction of a new Aldi, Costa and KFC drive-through retails units.

Project Summary

✅  Construction of the 3no. units to each individual retailer’s shell specification, ready for handover to the retailer fit-out teams prior to store opening, including provision of new mains water, power and comms connections to each of the units.

✅  S278 works to include new footpath, footpath widening and creation of a filter lane for access to the new site and a cycle path.

✅  Construction a of new car park with 4no. ultra rapid EV charging spaces and associated landscaping / planting.

✅  Construction of an HGV / delivery yard including a ramp with retaining walls.

This retail development site is part of a regeneration scheme creating additional jobs for the local area.  Matthias Daly, Real Estate Director at Aldi UK, comments: “We’re committed to bringing a new Aldi to Waterlooville and are looking forward to beginning preliminary site preparations in the coming months. Once open, the store will create up to 40 jobs and help local people shop and save closer to home.”

Works are scheduled to complete by end of summer 2026, with the new stores opening for business by Winter 2026.
