Skyborne are an international airline training organisation who have set up a new state-of-the-art training academy at Gloucestershire Airport, Staverton.
The new facility provides training for up to 90 private individuals and airline pilots to be trained to fly turboprop and jet engine aircrafts using a simulator.
The facility comprises five large air-conditioned classrooms and a bespoke selection assessment suite, all with high levels of natural light. It also includes areas of rest and relaxation for both staff and students.
Mildren Construction were employed as Principal Contractor to execute the full internal fit-out including internal partitions and glazed screens, feature staircase and glazed ballustrading, acoustic floors, carpentry works, building services, lift, data and security systems.
