Milestone Reached! Bristow Search & Rescue

The team has reached a monumental milestone at Bristow Search & Rescue.

The bridge beams, gantry and helicopter simulator have been craned into place and installed having arrived from Austria at the weekend!

Three cranes were required to complete this part of the project:
🏗️ The LTM 1300-6.3 a world record breaking mobile crane which can carry a complete 90 metre (295 ft) telescopic boom.
🏗️ The LTM 1090-4.2 the all-rounder crane which can carry a complete 60 metre (196 ft) telescopic boom.
🏗️ The LTC 1050-3.1 is a compact crane for big jobs which can carry a complete 48 metre (158 ft) telescopic boom.

Thanks to meticulous planning, seamless collaboration across every trade, and smooth liaison with Solent Airfield, Bristow Group Helicopters Air Sea Rescue who operate from Solent Airfield, and HM Coastguard, these lifts were completed without a hitch.
