Mildren Construction were contracted to demolish an existing single storey building comprising a convenience store and takeaway restaurant before undertaking the design and construction of a new 400m2 single storey steel framed building to shell and core level, to be used as a Co-op convenience store.

Externally works involved the creation of parking spaces for cars and bicycles a delivery bay and a bin store. The existing pedestrian access in the south west corner of the was retained and enhanced, whilst a new dedicated footway and pedestrian crossing (within the site) was provided to the south of the vehicle entrance. Soft landscaping was also undertaken.
